Collection Git
Collections are plain files, so you can version them with git like any other code. Kitten has a Git panel built in, so you can commit and push a collection without leaving the app. There is no Kitten account; your collections sync through your own remote.
Open the Git Panel
Press Ctrl+Shift+G (Control+Shift+G on macOS), or click the branch icon in the status bar. If the collection's folder isn't a repository yet, choose Initialize Repository.
Changes
The Changes tab lists tracked and untracked files. Stage everything with Stage All, or a single file with Alt+Y (Option+Y on macOS). Click a file to see its diff, then write a message and Commit.
Branches and Remotes
Pull, Push and Fetch sync with your remote. The branch picker switches between local and remote branches, manages stashes, and can add a remote if the repository doesn't have one yet.
History
The History tab shows the commit graph with each commit's description, date and author.
Requirements
Kitten runs the git installed on your machine and uses its credentials, so install git and set up access to your remote the way you normally would.
